I believe the normal way is take two grills, and cut and shut non recessed bits in with GRP.
360's have the holes only, all 300's have the rear part though. I cut mine out on Kar with a jigsaw...

I need to do Fakes now, I have a set of brake coolers to fit, all the ducting is fitted.

Right I need another grill. Decided to go with the mk1 lip too. I still haven't heard off the last owner about the petrol tank. I'll try and ring him tonight.

Surely one of the guys off of here can sort you out with a petrol tank, there's quite a few 300's being broken up at the moment or so it seems?

I have one. No sender though, so maybe worth getting one elsewhere unless you have the old sender incorporated into your alloy tank somehow?

Update of sorts,
Petrol tank in a no go, the bloke said he can't find it, so I need a tank. John what does the sender look like? All that's left is the filler neck, that's it. I also need a petrol cap as this key won't open it.
Exhaust, well I need to get that sorted, as I said it doesn't clear the wheel arch. I want it to go back out the back. So when I jacked her up, there was no way the exhaust could go over the beam, but the lowering blocks provide some clearance between ground and then the bottom of the beam if you get me. So I thought if I get a small diameter exhaust tube for that section then go back to the back box then jobs a good 'un?
I've decided to reshell it into ASSet, too in the near or so future. The shell's ok, but it's very tatty and I will be shown up on the retro rides gathering. Don't send me to the naughty corner in the display stand, where no one can see the green monster. Oh yeah, that's if I'm going. Note to self book it off tomorrow and get car done.

i've bought my ticket to retro rides, the following need to be done..................
Fuel Tank. I've looked in my Haynes book, now, the car (kermit) was orginally a 1700, so I've decided to put the tank off the other one, which is a 1400, and it shows a pic of the B172 and B14 tank that has an expansion tank. I don't know if mine has (1400). If it has one, and they're the same can anyone see problems in changing them over? What will I have to do in modifying the 1400 tank in order to get fuel to my f7p engine? Also what should I do with the fuel pump etc? I need help on this.

Green one is an E reg, red one is a G reg.
Does anyone know the location on the engine number for the f7p? I need to put it in my logbook for sending off.

There should be a plate on the side of the block with the number on it unless it's been removed?

Took ecu out and pulled apart, nothing looks like it's been tampered with, so that looks good. Couldn't see/find engine number. Ill try and look on the weekend.
Going to swap over the tanks, but how will my b14 tank support the feed and return for the fuel injection?

I'll look at my engine tomo so you know what side of the block to be looking at.
How is the tank working now, is it still using the one in the boot? Adam mods the sender in the tank with larger outlets, good tidy setup all still fits under the plate in the boot.
For what it costs i'd recommend them
