well i couldnt find a F1 volvo block sorry.
Been busy stripping the internals on my donor car, i hate wiring looms, they are like zip ties that keep appearing just when you thought you got the last of them
ok i had my gripe, for some progress on what i've been up to lately. I was suprised with the ECU, 1st at how big it is, and second at how light it is. It also wasnt as hard as i thought to get out. Also salvaged the 2 a-pillars covers, the roof trim where the interior light is center console and the dashboard itself, as most of it in mine is cracked or broken. Also has anyone seen an LED 3rd Brakelight for the 300's? My donor had one on it, made by Hella, I THINK the part number is TH60 if your interested, the other writings on it are SAE U3 90 and DOT of which i think are both safety approvals of some sort. I'm still waiting for a day cooler than 35 degrees so i can get under the car to get the driveshaft shrouding off and salvage the gearstick mount thats on it. Does the gearbox need to come off to remove the shrouding and how do you disconnect the driveshaft itself from the gearbox/clutch as the shrouding will be in the way.
As for my drivable car i put a new steering wheel in it now autotechnica sent the right boss kit up to me.(I got one that was wrongly packaged and they were trying to tell me it'd fit when the spline was 6mm to big lol). Putting a new exhaust in tuesday week, 2" straight through stainless all mandrel bent, but i cant find anyone that makes extractors for our 'lill cars. Also some LED courtesy lights and number plate lights as well as my new headlight reflectors will be here by the end of the week to keep me busy over the weekend. Got most of the bits for my new intake, Gasket, Throttle Body, Bellmouth for the pickup, just need the ducting which will get replaced when/if i put a programmable ECU (any good ones out there?) and MAP sensor in and also to port the spare intake manifold. The gasket has been the dearest so far ($60) the other bits of the intake i already had except the bellmouth which cost $2.30

maybe i should get some more and use them for brake cooling duct pickups
After that:
- Retrim interior
- Carbon Fiber Dashboard, Center Console
- Carbon Fiber A-Pillar to house Both Shift Light and Air/Fuel Meter
- LED Rear Lights
- Carbon Fiber BodyKit
- New Lick of Paint

was searching for a b204 head, i didnt realise u could get them on 740's and 940's. Anyway i saw an 83' 760 with the 2.8L block and a rare 4 spd manual + overdrive at a fair good price. Were there any other 5spd box's other than the one found in our 300's. Maybe it'd be worth checking out, cause if it is the same box, i could use the bellhousing and IMO it is one of the larger problems out of the way.
