I adapted to being on the right hand side very quickly my dad too.
the main thing is to remember the gearbox is not next to the window
and that the gears work the same way as right hand drive (there not inversed)
But i know the french prefere to drive on the left than the right
Hi folks new to this site I have a met green 360gle forsale, ive just bought it as I was going to use it to make my 1988 360gle perfect body condition however it wasn't a perfect colour match so it's no use to me. I already have a 340gl too so I've no room for this car. It has mot and tax til april and is over all a really great car serviced by volvo until 2004 and with the same owner all that time, they must ve really looked after it and just wished I could keep it. I ve got it on ebay too but really need rid as I just don't have anywhere for it. cheers john 07983 484910
I never actually noticed that your car is "that" colour Jani. It is lovely. There was a G plate 1.7 lived near me in Devon in that colour, and it was always a lovely looking car.

That one is very rare here....3 door Volvo...
BTW what does mk1 and mk2 mean ?
Volvo never really named the models in this way, but it's something we've adopted as a way of recognising the different age variations of the 300. Mark 1 Volvo 300's are the early 343 and 345's, with the original styling, although there were variations on these with regards to bumpers etc. Then a Mk 2 had some updated styling, a lip under the front lights and wing mounted indicators are easiest to spot. Then a Mk 3 is the most common 300 from approx 1986/7 onwards, known as the facelift version, with no wing mounted indicators, etc.
HTHs.
