It wouldn't be the first car (or last) to either had a new set of clocks or given a haircut.

That front valance is very rusty when you look closely. It's been outside a lot or done all 6000 miles over the winter. I'd not trust that mileage.

Agreed. They're very very easy to clock, I did it on a set of spare ones I had just to see and I believe Adam and Janni have done this?

Anyone interested in a 1984 V340 four door Saloon with a Diesel ??
I have received an e-mail from a friend in Holland who has one for sale. 500 Yo-Yos!
It will be scrapped if not sold because of the new Vintage car Tax laws in Holland.

Man, I would love one. But I think theyve stopped the car ferry from Newcastle to Holland. And it'd be a left hooker. And I dont have 500£.

One less excuse not to.
...and 500 yoyos is
only 423 quid at the minute...
Only drawbacks are it ain't Jap/French and/or wrong wheel drive.

Ha, yeah. I did check.
They wont let you book a return going outward by foot and back with a car. (?!)
Have to pay for two separate singles.
At least it would be possible though.
Just need £600 odd to make it plausable now. Anyone fancy a Yaris?

... another example of how legislation affects our hobby

I can't believe they excluded diesel cars from the vintage car laws, even if it is "devil fuel".
Cheers
