No worries buddy - these things can't be avoided.
It boils down to whether or not you really want it. If you don't want it, I don't think there's any obligation for you to go through with it. If you do, and you can possibly afford it, it would make life a lot easier - but its certainly not the end of the world.
The first and second parts are fully independant anyway, so no-one has to go through to the full kit if they don't want to.
Let us know...and if anyone else wants to jump in on the buy...
cheers

Hello!
It`s come to this. The guy that had the parts in sweden said his brother had got rid of the parts and tossed it to the junkyard.
So if the opertunity is still there, i would like to be in again if it is ok?

Hi Blade,
Yes, sure, I don't think it's too late.
Dave (DBS) can organise shipping - he thinks around £40.
I can't speak for Dave, but I'd prepare yourself for some potential slight damage in the post, as these things are very difficult to protect from clumsy postmen!

Okey.So it will be around 40-50 pounds at least?
When do you need the money then?
Yeah, those postmen aren`t reliable on those sort of things.
And just wandering, when will you make the sideskirts

?

Hi Blade,
It's £80 for the front valance, plus around £40 for postage. I'll get Dave to give you a quote for shipping - sent him an email - you can get that from his website -
www.volvorsport.co.uk
I think the rest of the kit will be made later this year.
cheers

Aargh! What idiot would scrap a bodykit!!!
I am a postmen too for a couple of hours a week.
Generally speaking I am quite carefull with big packages...
My colleagues on the other hand...

It's unbelievable how some people handle other peoples belongings...

Okay.Thanks for the info
I`ll try and save some money.
I know, nobody should be able to toss a bodykit to scrap yard when it`s that hard to get one these days.
It was a damn shame.I thought i had hit the jackpot there, but it ended up in a sad story instead.

He I'm in for such a kit too, no time right now to dig through the whole topic so :
Are there any left for sale?
Costs?
Shipping costs shouldn't be much of a problem.

Hi Luc,
I've been trying to reply to your email about the twin carbs, but it keeps bouncing!
They're not available as part of this buy any more, but they will be available in the future. I suggest you get in touch in 2-3 months, when Dave (hopefully) won't be so busy, and when we know for sure how this trial run has turned out.
cheers
