Yes it was good to finally get it sorted, thanks to volvodspec and paul (dafdaffer) for the help and advice they have provided. Wll go out for a drive in it this evening i think

Well as most of you will know the rear wing on the black beauty looks something like this.


Which is not the look I am going for with this car. So i have put a few hours in today.
First it looked like this

And then this, thats dafdaffer (paul) fixing the fuel sender

Then a very good looking fat man did some of this.


That made alot of dust end ended up with things looking like this at the end of playtime.

All i have to do now is finish it before princethorpe on sunday

i dunno.
i think there might be a bit of filler in that rear panel.

"Black Beautys" had them as standard ...

Was that dent from the fork lift truck, Stefan ?

Hi yes that is the fork truck damage from the scrap yard . Only a little filler

Yes wheels were standard on the car probably not many sets about now just glad i have a set of 5.

not much diffrent but it is smother and just about the right shape

Not ATM ... I got mine from the bay, recently there were a set of brand new ones on German Ebay, they went for huuuge monies. They turn up in Holland too from time to time, but shipping is an issue, as you can imagine!

stripes will stay mate did some more on it today

so after alot of wet flatting and polishing it looks like this

not perfect but alot better and it is now presentable so very pleased with my weeks work.
