Sort of the tube itself is the same overall length, but dropped through the lower section of the strut increases the distance the damper rod can move in. Gives same travel as a standard car but with the dropped height. In theory!!

Ah, I get you...so no need for shorter dampers. Do you have clearance for the speedo cable still?

Yeh as far as i can tell without atually fitting one it will work with a modification to the subframe bracket to give it more slack at the wheel end.

Trial fittedtoday very happy with the results. Can get car the same height as white car but with same travel on the damper as a standard 300!!! Cannot wait to get this on the road!!! Test fitted my housemates Advans to the car aswell, look kinda cool and the jap boys would hate me using these rare wheels!!!!

Oh and engine plans have changed. Fill you in when log book comes back.

Nice work on the coilovers! Lack of travel on the damper when lowered is a big problem on the 300 series
I should probably had done the same on the drifter, my towers are a bit suspect for the mot;)

A Few more parts have been aquired for the car. Lovely dished steering wheel and a safety devices cage.
