still no progress on security upgrades / member (or bot in thes cases) blocking etc?
Totally agree... very sick of having to delete ~10=15 posts most times I log in... and banning the user! We have voiced our concerns to Aymat numerous times - all it really needs is modification to the signup process. I'd be happy to help, I work as a Web Developer so it'd probably only take a couple of minutes!

Could it be possible to choose a made man to Aymat's help, who would have right to install mods and modify theme as behalf of Aymat in way that Aymat would approve?
I would think that such would be great value to community and it would take maintenance load off from Aymat's shoulders so he does not need to feel bad if his real-life does not leave time to do everything that he would like to.

Agreed, I'm doing the same number everything I come here. As Steve said, there's not much we can do. It's been suggested to Aymat before about helping out, I did the anti spam thing for this forum on the old phpbb2 as a custom thing so it wouldn't be a known mod the spammers could get round which I'm pretty certain is why we have been so lucky with lack of them until now.
I might just go and write the code, then show it to Aymat to approve or something... but I'm out of spare time for a month or so

It's a real, real hassle, I have to admit I'm not visiting the forum as often because every time I click on a new post, some damn' spammer has filled the thread with rubbish. I'm sure I'm not the only one, so please Aymat, try and do something about it, or allow someone else to help you!
Cheers
Tom

I've emailed Aymat to notify him of the continual spam problem and suggested we modify the signup process to do so. Hopefully he'll reply soon

Nothing, we have no access to do it.
Aymat is the only one who has the access and we've tried to get in touch
I'll keep trying, I'm getting fed up of deleting 30 odd posts each time I log in
