My GUESS would be the ones from the 360 as both throttle and clutch will be the same distance as the old engine, whereas in a 940 the may be a different length.

BUT that is just a GUESS

I drilled a new hole above the fuse box for the O/S loom. This was just for quickness though. It isn't going back like that.

As for the accelerator cable, I got a 360 injection one - which I guess you have - and had to space it a bit as it was too long to fit the B230.

Clutch cable is OE as Matt says.

Didn't use the 940 FMIC as it's massive. It won't even fit between the headlights lol. I got mine up and running by just looping the pipes and running no IC whilst I was awaiting silicone hoses.

Carb cable is no good mate. Mine was too short iirc.

I was running the standard B19 rad with twin electric fans. If you don't have the FMIC shit sorted yet I wouldn't worry about looping the pipework for the short term. Not at 4 psi lol.

What have you done for the turbo oil return? I had a nightmare with mine. We custom bodged one up out of silicone with the original hard pipe at either end and it was forever blowing out of the sump. I even burned right through it after I renewed the turbo return gasket and forgot to resecure it.
Smoke everywhere. Just not from the back wheels!

Sounds like you're not too far away now then mate. 8)

If yours is the original from your car it will be the injection one, yeah.

IIRC that red pipe has Volvo printed on it and was found on the deck lol. It was all a mishmash from whatever was in the yard. Bits of Megane Scenic there too.

I bought a 20mm flexible copper pipe from B&Q to replace the silicone in the end. That works fine now, but I won't be keeping it. I intend to weld a boss or tap threads into the sump and buy a flexible braided job for when it goes back together.

Yep. I only had 3 weeks from getting the donor to having the B230 running in my 360, so couldn't fuck about making things pretty.
About 4 days were wasted pouring over diagrams etc and wondering why the spark was so weak - turned out the CPS wasn't bolted down tightly. Don't make that mistake! lol

It was always my plan to renew/upgrade loads on the car anyway though, so I wasn't too bothered at the time.

You got a time limit mate?

it dont need to look pretty anyways aslong as it goes well :D, ive not had alot of time to wor on it sadly due to being in someones unit and me not being able to have a key,

i will make sure i dont make that mistake then, mistake i have made is when i cut the notch out the bellhouseing, i didnt make the hole were the sensor goes bigget so its about 2 mm from fitting atm lol,

im hopeing to have it finished for a drift weekend starting the 24th of this month, dont think it will be ready though because its the rebuilding thats starting to confuse me, i dont have a clue about wireing but i managed tow wireing on the 940, but butting it back in is confuseing the hell out of me lol,
you got any new vids of yours mate?

Yeah, standard clutch and throttle cables will do fine. Liams' B19A cable might not have fitted, but the B200K one is worth a try.

You'll have to talk to Adam about the IC pipework, but they managed to get a working arrangement out of bits from the 940. There are two types of intercooler fitted to 940s - "top pipe" ones on non-AC cars, and "centre pipe" ones on (you guessed it!) cars with AC. Adams was the latter...and it fits (just) after grinding down the additional bits of metalwork.

I agree that running without an IC should be OK to start with (at 4psi)...but I'd get it sorted ASAP.

cheers

got the clutch cable sported, got the loom placed in and mainly pluged in, need to sort the battery leads out and a few more bits, but the dash and most on the inside is built back,

need to sort the fule pump out, whats everyone else done? im thinking just go inline from something like a calibra, any advice?

thanks for all the info so far guys, slowly getting there :D

Adam's currently running on the standard 360 pump, but the one from the 940 should be a bolt-in. We haven't checked the fuel pressure on full load (the acid test), but it seems to run ok. Not that that's very scientific. Calibra indeed! ;)

Rupert recently pointed out that all 2/7/900s use the *same* pump, so it's possible the 360 one is the same too...in which case, no worries. The stock 2/7/900 one is good for over 300bhp.

cheers
