Howdy,
It's now just a case of getting in touch with Dave (
www.volvorsport.co.uk) on an individual basis. I'd give him a few weeks though, as he's very busy with the existing buy and engine builds at the moment.
cheers

Hey again.
Okey. But there is a chance on getting the front valance, even though it has been i while since the group buy first started.
I have got a tight schedule these days anyway, so just take all the time you need, i can wait until june to get the front valance if it is okey?

Any news lately Foggy??

Yeah, I have some news. The first valance is in the mold, waiting for removal. I'm assured that it's a quick process from here...assuming Dave gets on with it and stops playing with turbos

Last thing I heard there'll be pics to post within the week.
I'm sorry you guys have had to wait so long for these. For what it's worth, myself and Dave have been involved in another buy of engine parts (we're the buyers this time), and the timescale is equally...er....generous, which (since Dave is mostly building engines at the moment) goes
some way to explaining the delay. FG work is pretty nasty, and I believe Dave uses it as a stop gap between engineering work. Sadly our buy ran into a very busy period of engineering work, and that's a higher priority.
That's
why this situation has occured. It clearly shouldn't have happened, and (despite being a mate) Dave knows full well I'm not all that happy about the situation. Unfortunately I don't have too much of a leg to stand on as I'm not having much luck in getting hold of the correct engine parts (replacements for the wrong ones)!
I'm aware that there has been a certain amount of....er....controversy regarding Dave's FG work in the past, and this has been brought to the attention of the 'public', and has caused some nervousness. As the organiser of this buy, I probably ought to comment. As far as I'm aware, the comments relate purely to timescale, and even those outspoken regarding the delays (on other buys) have been impressed with the quality of the end result. Having been involved with some FG work in the past, I can vouch first hand for how annoying, time consuming and generally 'not worth it' it is - which is why I changed my original plan (making them myself) to getting Dave involved.
None of this excuses the delays. However, I'm assured that the first one will be ready by the end of next week, and the other two will follow quickly.
On another note, I'm led to believe that one of these three valances ordered will be going straight up for sale - if any of the folks who didn't get in on the buy are interested?
cheers

Please let him make the rear valance next!
Is it possible to make the rear one a bit lower...? I think the original one still shows to much of the cars bottom side...

That looks nice Adam.
I'm sure the rears could be made lower, and I agree they're far too insubstantial. It's bound to cost more though.
cheers

Another thing... Would it be a good idea to forget about the hole for the exhaust in the rear valance. Some people have some custom echausts. The standard hole will look abit silly on those cars...
(don't be offended Fuse... I love the car... it's just the hole in the rear valance...)

Where I'm from you make the exhaust fit the bodykit
