Nicely done! Any smidgeon lower helps - I've grown to really rather dislike the standard 300 high seating position. Comfy yes, sporty no. Kinda good that they look 'period' almost

Well, you should know, it was never designed as sports car or even Gti type hot hatch, even GLT version was tad 'sporty', it still was designed to just haul groceries between downtown and suburban, so no wonder seating position is tad high, I don't fit between seat and rood with helmet on, I have to tilt backrest bit down so I lean backwards like some mexican driving his jumping car. It just our own fault that we tend to use cars how there were not meant to be used, so no complaining allowed, right?

+1 especially if you drive like me (closish to the steering wheel) and find that longish legs dont fit under steering (espech in the overcushioned GLT interior)
Lovely Recaros btw Griffo-kinda look like their meant for the car

thanks guys

yer one of the things I liked about these were as you guys said, they look very sort of period to the car and the colours not far out either so they tie in well inside me thinks

didn't get to make up the other pair of adaptors today so won't have them in tonight

wanna try n get em in tomorrow!

Got new seats fitted in it yesterday, thanks to Weblefeck (On RetroRides) I bought a pair of Escort RST Recaros. After making a couple of seat adaptors they dropped straight in and look like they were meant to be there. Definately would have been standard in these if Volvo made a sporty version
They sit a tad high but there so much more supportive! Especially with the stiffer suspension the old seats didn't hold you whatsoever so these are great! Really help give confidence with the feel of the car
Very happy with em

Took the car down to Retro Show today at Pod with our "Retro Allsorts" group. Haven't got any pics of it yet but if I do i'll stick em in here. It was an absolutely cracking day and a perfect journey to get used to my new seats lol
Next: Get my new wing painted up and fitted!!!

Hey guys well I decided to finally buy VND's Paddy Hopkirk roofrack after much umming n arring, turned up today (thanks dude

) So I couldn't just leave it overnight before messing could I??
It looks quite cool hehe. May move it forward a little, don't want it in the middle though, easy enough to take on and off as and when I please and simple enough to store it without dismantling it, so all is good
I know......i've still got my f*cked wing on

Looks pretty cool man, links up with the black wheels well I recon. Looks kinda hot to the rear too. Like one of those fancy shmancy 'Rear Racks' you see.
Nowt wrong with that wing either dude. My (and Ians) old mk2 is STILL rocking its crashed wing.
