Access to fuel line in sub frame - Problems - Help

Post by kelvingenders »

Dear all, I own a 360GLT B200EA. I needed to replace the fuel lines in the engine bay. Upon removing the rubber tubing from the fuel lines near the fire wall, in the subframe, the fuel lines have sprung back into the subframe and hence I cannot get them out through the hole where the grommet is.!!!!!!

Has anyone got any ideas ........
1) How to get to them via another access point?
2) How to get them back out via the subframe near the fire?
3) Does anyone know what these are made off (fuel lines)
4) How I take arsenic to so i don't have this problem
5) Any alternative solutions :360:

they come out where the front of the leafsprings are attached; you'll have to remove the heatshield under the fuel tank to acces the lines

with it removed; just run a piece of solid copper wire from the hole in the engine bay to the rear (bend the tip round so it doesn' t get stuck); it should just come out and you can tigh the fuel line to it to get it out at the front again
