you can fit 17" wheels on, the problem being that unless you have an unlimited cash pool the the cost of tyres with the correct profile which is 30 or 35 is very expensive. 6.5 is legally the biggest width one can put on a 360, at least in australia, but if the offset was taken from 37 to something like 15 or 20, you will probably find it would fit, just, and you would have to check the wheel arch, the inner/outer guards and suspension clearances. I wouldnt get bigger than 16's, for many reasons, one that springs to mind is that low profile tyres dont look like their low on pressure, so it may be running dangerously low pressures and you wouldnt notice it till it goes "pop". Also combine that with bad roads/potholes and you can damage the rim, which would have been more expensive, and just for some street cred? my 15's look nice, i'm sure 16's would look nicer, but i wouldnt go any larger.

And bear in mind how ridiculous those huge rims look with the tiny disk and drum brakes behind them...
So he might wanna upgrade those too if he does not want to make a foul of himself...

Look for a scrapped Redline. They have four alloy wheels but the spare is a bog-standard steel. :)

Bilbo...are you the artist formally known as Janitor?

How did we get from 7x17"s to Redline 13" rims?! I do have a set of the 'redline' 13" rims for sale in near-perfect condition, in case anyone is interested!

cheers

The disks behind a 15" can still look acceptable as long as the rims are not to "open" I think... got some pics?
