Weber 32 DIR 110

This is the carb that I have purchased a week back also I have ordered a repair kit, the carb was covered with dust and thick layer dirt i have cleaned it using PETROL

i just want to know what should i do before fixing to my V340? what should i check? any common fault?

also in the first pic ,there is a small gap in throttle valve,is this normal?

:340:

that's funny as it is a stripped down 110 to make it function like a 109:? ...

the actuatorbracket for the decellerationmembrame mechanism on the bottomleft of the 3rd pic is present; but the decellerationmechanism membrame + vacuumconnection above the mixture screw is gone and also the vacuumconnection for the EGR system to the right of the mixture screw isn't even casted into the carb housing..

to me it looks like a 104 bottom housing with some parts of the 110 attached to it and 110 stamped as a fake-id code

what engine (B14.4E or B14.4S) and year are you planning to use it on?

the gap on the first butterfly can be called normal

as for the carb, the usual stuff.
- check all the jets and clean the carb channels
- check if the carb foot is still equally surfaced and not warped
- check all membrames and mount the covers back exactly as they were
- set floater height at 7mm (incl gasket)
