Volvo 360 for sale!!

Post by pyro » 09 Sep 2010 06:18 pm

Unfortunatly the time has come, MAJOR RUSH TO SELL

Volvo 360 GLE

12 months MOT

Sills welded to perfection.
Kyb gas dampers at the front, Gabriel red riders at the back.

Standard ride height, although it will be having 200lb classic swede springs on the front in the next few days.

just replaced the engine and clutch at a cost of £300

engine is out of a 940, done 59k, and is fantastically smooth and picks up well, new filter, oil and cam belt and electric fuel pump, rebuilt carb/new float.

Last summer i rebuilt the front end, wishbones, rebuilt arb mounting bar, everything cleaned up and undersealed. new antiroll bar links, (now NLA i think) new brake pads.

new tyres all round

new exhaust

new clutch

has had the rear diff re-gasketed to stop the weeping, so new gasket, s/s bolts and new oil.

Has Hella grille. 6 dial dash, (may keep depending on offer) rear speakers, new front speakers, everything works as it should.

Problems: power steering needs a new pipe, will get this sorted in the next week or so.
spot of rust the size of a 50p on passenger door (i think :|)
valance is pretty well rusted, however mot dude used glassfiber and it sured everything up.
couldnt get track rod ends off (done one of them!) will try get em done with the MOT, however new ones are supplied, will also aim to get this sorted.
marks on drivers seat, stiching has come undone on bolster.
blemishes on paint work.

My mistake, thought you may have been doing some recovery as in..................

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kinetic Rope, n. (See Kinetic Energy Recovery Rope)
A highly dangerous piece of elastic cable
used by Land Rover owners to remove large pieces of their vehicle by hurling it at bystanders.
Best, and mostly used on especially old and corroded chassis.

Please accept my appologies. sm4

its just a normal b200 engine, in an ideal world it could do with a carb tune up, but its not really a problem!ive put 1100 miles on it with it as it is and its no issue!

so yeah its a standard 2l engine.

I have indeed heard the story. and it makes me feel sad.

but i need economy. fuel wise.

im just hoping some one is going to look after the 360 and not drift the funk out of her then scrap it.
