As title says... Whats going on? Less people driving 300's anymore? Sounds plausible.

Yeah it's been quiet. I think people have jobs or something
I can think of 3 people on here that used to post loads that are currently out of it due to work though. Yes, VND is one of them. Spamming bastards

I can take my share of the blame here....
I really only post whenever there's a big problem with my car or to complain about the stupid price of spares here... which fortunately isn't that often!
I'd like to post more about the huge mods I'm planning for my 360.... but since I'm saving up for the deposit on a house, they'll have to wait a while!
.......... I must make more of an effort
Tom.

Yeh i think we are all here just not posting. I admit i havent had the opportunity to touch the 340 since the start of October, due to working on some other cool motors and i have just bought a new daily driver that needs repairing before i can drive it!!!

Although I have only been here for a couple of years, It has always been a REALLY slow moving forum. Which is a shame.
An off topic section (not the current integrated general chat/BS that we have now) would assist greatly IMO.

I'm guilty of never posting anything about my cars. I may sling a garage blog thread up to document my various fails and crashes.

You just don't work with car when it is -25C in garage, then there is also the work, which is taking great deal of time as my work is done on site, so there is not much of stuff I can do, then I have found out that I'm starting to forget things, can't really remember all 300 stuff so well, but I hope to get it on road still.
Oh, even now I'm working, luckily I have rare opportunity to work from home.

Other than the cold weather I have noticed a long term decline, I think there are just declining numbers of solid cars. Rot free examples seem to be amazed at when they appear.
If we want to keep these on the road, we need more repair sections and/or more welding, both of which have significant obstacles. At the end of the day proper restoration needs complete stripping of suspension, drive and fuel tank requiring alot of investment in time, equipment and skills.
I would suggest that anyone who can get custom parts made to make sure the design is kept and parts can be supplied or made to order.

Most of the internet types interested in 300's will be found on Driftworks and TrampD too I would imagine.

Gotta disagree there mate!
They may be on looking for DWYB events and the like. It's not as scene as just posting/attending E38 meets as they're 'cool' IMO.
I'd be on TrampD more if it didn't require me to own an E36 or Sierra.
