You can probably find cheaper struts (GSF, Eurocarparts, eBay), but I wanted to transfer my boot light switch from the RH side one.

LINKY

They can sometimes re-gas them, but if they don't they'll let you know. If they do, it'll have a 1 month warranty - failure inside that month and the cost will be re-credited against a new set. They couldn't re-gas my Volvo ones, but they could my 1977 Citroen ones (220N) and they are still holding up my Citroen bootlid fine 16 months or so on.

My Volvo originals were 350N, but they can gas them to any spec, so if you have a weighty breakfast bar and bidet on the back, I'd go higher.

Foggy has a load of new ones, worth a shout.

Remember to transfer your boot light switch across as MP says ;) The ends will unscrew.

Yup, FoggyJames.

The thing to note is some replacement ends are plastic and the switch works by grounding though the ball joint. If the new end is plastic, the old metal ball end should just screw on. It's likely the new strut will also have a different length body that the old one, so you might need to get a bit of ali tube/nylon tube/old permanent marker so that the switch can still turn the boot light off.

If non of that makes sense I'll take a picture of mine ;)
