So if you live near a rail line,get some you'll be sitting on a goldmine

Everyone get a disclock , wheel clamp and a tracking device then cos the skallywags will be out picking cars of the street, especially old ones they think the police won't give a sh*t about and investigate. (that is just about all cars except those owned by rich people )

I'm getting fed up with getting "visited" by our travelling friends, with eyes firmly on the steel on the drive. They've now asked twice about the C70...which you'd have to have sharp eyes to even notice isn't on the road (engine out, so nose is a bit in the air...one front tyre flat, and the other front wheel is the space-saver spare. Since when were they on the prowl in January?!

I don't really give a crap about the weigh-in money...I just don't need the hassle. They're bad enough now...imagine what it'll be like if the value of steel rockets! We've got two to go (one of which goes soon), then I'm all done with scrapping cars for the foreseeable future. I just hope the 83 GLT doesn't go "missing" off the drive (they tried to steal Nessy last summer), because it's got scrapper written all over it, sadly. Best make it a swift part-out...!

Pov spec? It's a GLS! Velours upholstery, chrome bumper inserts, chrome wheel trims, five speed gearbox.

It even has AN REV COUNTER.

.... tinted windows, opening rear windows if it's a 3dr, headlamp wash/wipe, heated seats (last 2 dependant on year as Dl's didn't always get them).......

Wow thats a lot more scruffy than it first appeared, halve the value then it's cheap...

forgot i regestered on this forum ages ago (2006!!) back in the day when i 1st started trampdrift, i'm not the sort of person that just joins forums to sell stuff but a mate pointed this topic out to me

at the end of the day i am just trying to sell a car i bought on like most people do so i got some stuff wrong. some of you guys must know every thing there is to know about cars and i will ask you next time i buy or even think about selling a car if it dose not sell i will emty my scrap pile in to the boot take some bits off it to help keep others on the road and drive it over the bridge money is money food is food etc etc

i am glad it looks tatty tho as i don't want to waste anyones time unlike some sellers on the internet

any one have a problem with that give me a shout and drop the keybord and pop round

I'm sure it's all in good humour dude. Looks like a fun car to smoke around in for a bit.
