Just wondering if it was easy to remove and clean the injectors on a 360 GLT. Is is fraught with dangers and only a job pros should attempt?. should i go and buy some injector cleaner and put it in the fuel tank?

I thought about this.

Just went out and bought some injector cleaner and put in the tank, I can't say it made a difference, but then again it coulda made a difference and I might not have noticed :)

The 360 injectors aren't particularly hi-tech items. Didn't someone here manage to mix'n'match them with vauxhall items?

Kelvin its not a bad job to do, but you have to be brave and careful at the same time :) you have to disconnect and remove the fuel rail, and then you just pull them out, but they tend to be pretty well stuck in, so can be a bit difficult to budge.

When you put them back, make sure the O-rings are in good condition otherwise you run the risk of getting air leaks past the injector seals.

Do you honestly think it will make a difference to how a car can run?

Does anyone know the generic part number for these from Bosch?

The bosch part number for the Injector Valve (Dunno if that's the same thing) is "0 280 150 734"
