1.7 carb question
hi guys still newbie on her got a 89 340 gl 1.7 looked at the carb today and looks bad smells like fuel at the base and is leaking i think. can you tell me what carb it is ive got a feeling looks like a solex. my question is does any one no if something like a weber dgv or dgas would fit i have a few carbs have had a few 2.0 pinto capris and no the carbs inside out might even make small power gain as my carbs are modded for true twin operation rathern than one coming in later. sorry for the silly question if not spose will just have to rebuild the current carb unless some one on here can tell me what carbs will fit the 1.7 engine think its called a b17. sorry new to the world of volvo lol
