As above. Can't seem to find a pdf of one, or a hard copy. I'm on the 16valver forum, but haven't got enough posts to get into the technical section (guh). If anyones got a pdf of the engine manual, or a hard copy they know of, let me know. Just want to study it in detail!

Its the engine code.

Yarp. what he said. E.g. F7P is the 1.8 ltr clio engine, SR20DET is the engine from a nissan 180sx. Those numbers and letters just an easy way to Identify which engine is which. In the case of the F7R/F7P, just looking at them visually, theres pretty much no difference.

In this case, F meaning Renault F series, 7 meaning multipoint injection 16V and the letter (P or R in this case) gives the capacity.
