Rear rectangular rubber mounts for B14 & B172

Post by volvomania »

As I am already planning far ahead I am wondering if there is any need for "original stiffness" rubber mounts that sit between the body and the clutch housing (volvo 3100791 or 3210484).

As I already have the front rubber mounts for sale, which are proving a success, I am looking at the rear ones as these can not be found anywhee (except the really stiff versions from Dai).

Do you see a need for these and would you order?

No need for these?
That surprises me.

A lot of us need new rear engine mounts, but certainly for myself, stock ones are no use as I run a 16V engine in one car and a B18FT in the other. I'm putting the effort in along with Dai to try and make uprated versions, but obviously these would be -10BKV points for the originalists ;)
