I find a good tug usually gets the desired effect.

Yeah, just pull it real hard! Mine came of once shifting from 3rd to 4th. That was a surprise! Its literally a lift off job, no thread.

tbh though my knob just fell of once while chasing a bmw so in a way its lucky if its hard to get off, mine comes off far to easy :oops: can be a tricky situation if it just comes off in your hand mind -Seriously speaking

Edit: my other half says if your knob comes off to quick in your hand you shouldn't be playing with it so much! :o
