As I posted in my project thread, im thinking about my clutch. I went down to where I used to work and my old boss seemed to remmber you had to drop the rear axle to move the torque tube to then remove the bell houseing. Has he remmebered correct? or do people know an easier way. Im going to try and get under the car later and see but I dont have to much expeirence with moving rwd tansmissions about

Nah you don't have to remove the rear axle, but you do have to either drop the gearbox and torque tube or lift the engine, I think someone who'd done it once said that lifting the engine was an easier option :S Clutch is a pain on 360's, a breeze on 340's

Cheers steve, another guy down there said to move the torque tube so looks like his memmory was correct A few people have said that my high bite and squeak are normal and im perhaps best off leaving it alone for now. I am just interested in doing it now as i can do it in my time with my labour unlike in a few weeks when ill be commuting.

I wouldnt say a high biting point and squeak is particularly normal, but if it's not slipping in higher gears up hills etc then I wouldn't bother for now

Every 300 Ive driven has had a very high bite.

Mind you, thats ony 5.
