Awesome day! I spent most of the time wandering around, talking to people and racing. Chris was there who as you know challenged me to beat his 15.8 time from last year. Well I did! 15.78 and Chris also beat his PB at 15.79. Lots of brake stands and ragging my car as hard as I could is still making me smile. This means (according to chris) I now own the fastest NA Volvo in the UK
I just took some pictures of stuff I liked the look of. I mean most of it was nice but some stood out for me...
Gave this a run for it's money:

Nice to have a mini convoy with you on the way home...

That's been on the quarter mile.... AFAIK. This came from Turbobricks to me, so no idea how recent it actually is Still, worth finding out more about, I'll be happy to take it back again soon
My old time was a 15.89 from memory so I'm happy I got an extra 10th, especially as I wasn't being super harsh on her having only just got it running so I could get there. There's a lot still to get out of both our cars!

Yarp. I'd like to retain the nice drivability though which is why I had the idea of turbos a while back. Shirley it will be virtually the same before the turbo kicks in?

Nice one dude. Fastest NA 300 is wicked. I also agree entirely on the turbo front. N/A all the way. Looks like I missed a heck of a show. Ah well, retro rides @ Prescott, I will be there!

Nice one Speedy. I disagree on a blown motor being equal to cheating in the power gains though.
I wonder what the 340 owners in this thread would say if there were decent, readily available t blocks to drop in as easily as the larger 16v n/a stuff.
Turbo's arn't cheating... the amount of work mine was taking is why I did a valver in a weekend as a break
Speedy, it's a shame we couldn't line up again. We tried for an hour or so after the first race, but people kept blowing up in front of us so a lane kept getting shut at the wrong time I'm sure you'd have won one too tbf, we were both putting in consistent 15.8's +/- a bit.
