Welded up diff

Was think about putting one I'm my 360 road rally car
What are the pros and cons of doing It

Wats the life like on them when you have done it.

For road rallying? Surely a welded diff is not what you want

I think it's debatable in terms of how the car acts. It'll be more sketchy but with the right setup you'll get good sliding control and 50% more grip under launches. As for the regulations though...

I have to agree.

For drifting would be OK,unsuitable for road rallying IMHO TBH.

They are a prick on tarmac unless you have full traction loss around a corner. shortens your increasing life too. good up take on launch though. for road rally I'd want a LSD

welding the diff up is good if you want to go sideways as it will not
slip for s**t but if you want to go fast and race people then
probably best not to weld it
