Hi Guys,
Sorry I haven't been on for a while, started a new business, still working as well! The worst of it is that my beloved Volvo is going to have to go. It just scraped through its MOT but needs a bit of work if it is to pass next year - rusted rear jack points and rust on the rear leaf suspension bit. I am so sad!! Just haven't got the room, time or cash to do it. If anybody wants it let me know, I want it to go to somebody who appreciates it. Free to a VERY nice home!
Congrats on the career plans working, but sad to hear that the ovlov has to go.
Do you have a suitable Volvolic replacement lined up, or like SteveP are you joining the dark side...........?

Obviously the plan is to get another Volvo - I love 'em, but in the mean time I am being GIVEN my Dads metro to keep me going... hey... its a free car right!
Well, I understand. It really is breaking my heart to part with my car after 7 years, but the rear jack points actually move when wiggled and I've been told not to use them! Also that rear leaf rust is worrying me. Can it be fixed? Is it silly to even think of it?
it might be worth taking it to an mot place and asking them to quote for next year. my leave springs are always a bit rusty and they're fine - rear jacking points *might* be ok too, or might just need welding a touch.
rather spend money on the volvo than drive a metro LOL good luck with the career move , dont be a stranger , I am sure if we can live with peugeot drivers on the forum we can still put up with you !!!
petavius just to let you know the reason i asked is that my grandad services volvo's in ludlow along with my two uncles. That is how i got into them. Oh and the pics of my car in the gallery are taken on Clee Hill.
