any1 got a 1.7 rad with no holes?

im looking for A 1.7 radaitor mines got loads of holes in so i need a new 1. will probably need it posted if any1 has 1 it would be really appreciated pm me a price or post up on here. thanks

Have you tried to get a recore? Usually a good result, but depends where you are, needs radiator specialist.

my radiators pretty shot its got 3 big holes in it

If the holes are just in the core then a recore will do the job (core = the bit with the fins that does the cooling). Its the sides that are custom.

disaster strikes as i went to pull off 1 of the pipes the bit that was joined on to the radiator snapped off

Its not a disaster, a radiator specialist will be able to reattach it for you when they do the recore.

Looking on ebay rads are about £130 to £180, a recore will be about £80 from memory (including repairs)

i cant find any places that recore in my area and as iv got no rad at the moment i cant drive places so its just gonna be cheaper to get a new one. i was just asking to see if there was any second hand ones about but thee doesnt seem to be

is this a 1.7 rad? iv seen a couple but they dont look like they have the hole for the temperature sensor thing to screw into

Nordic supply a replacement radiator for a very reasonable price (I think about £80). If I remember correctly though Nordic have advised a V3M member in the past that a re-cored original radiator will be of a better quality than the pattern part they sell.

That was me. They got one of their old parts re-cored for me and sent it out as a new part. Great service tbh, they knew I needed it in 2 days and I had it in 36hours.
