Hi,

Some of you may know that I'm collecting all of the parts for a RWD turbo fun with a volvo gearbox.
I would like to know how much 360 gearbox can take. I will be building a 1300cc turbo motor from Suzuki Swift 16v Gti engine.
When I finish building it, it will have about 220-240Bhp with about 180-90lbft of torque...
I got a special 5 paddle clutch plate made with a HD spring. I'm getting a 360 bell housing machined to fit a G13B gearbox bell housing.
I'm sure diesel turbo engine had more turque than little 1300cc turbo but I would like to make sure!

Let me know if any of you have any info.

i would also lke to know this for my 2.3 turbo project around 250 bhp

From what i've read/heard, the 360 torquetube/transaxle is good for up to and around 300ft/of torque Thomas.............

Once I pick up my bell housing which has been modified, I will take photos and start a thread as a project.
As I will be making PG LSD and so on for a 360 diff, it might be something people might be interested!

P.S. I got brand new clutch plate for 300 series if any one wants it.

420Nm is pretty safe. 440Nm and all you need is 1 full throttle acceleration on 3rd gear. It breaks cause the 3rd gears cogwheel is in the middle of the long axel, and the axel bends making it slip.

This is definitely decent project thread material im very interested in the LSD idea
