me again, as some will know im building a b230fk 360 (well ive built it now lol) still not done the exhaust after i took it to a place and they just did what they wanted and made a daft side exit and a bad attempt at that (dont have anything against side exits tbh but its a 2.5 inch on a 2.3 turbo), im gonna build my own but dont think the design i was thinking of will work because of the position of the back axle and drive shafts so i was wondering if anyone could post pics of there exhaust's to give me some ideas (standards and one off's),
heres whats left of the one the company fuked up, not a big problem though as only payed foe the diff and i can save some by cutting it off before it curves to the sill, shit pic as its on my fone and laying on a stone drive on a shitty cold day.
Scroll down a few posts in this link: http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... &start=240 to see mine. Downpipe to a single piece of 2.5 " tubing, to a back-box. Mines N/A, so the exhaust will flow good up to around 250hp.

ahhh thats the one ive seen but couldnt find it cheers, is your car lowered? i thought about going under the bac axle but thought it would be to close to the road? don't suppose you have a pic of the car on the floor from the back do you?
here it is a good 2 years ago now made with my crappy old welder its made out of bits of pipe i had lying around that car was on a 3" drop now its on a car with a 2" drop it sits close to the axle but i haven't heard it rub since ive adjusted it better if i was going to do it again which i will at some point i would stick the silencer behind the axle not in front
the only problem with a side exit on 300s is the chassis rails cause the exhaust to sit very close to the ground
thats why i removed mine as i was sick of it scrapping
am i rite in thining that the black line is were the exhaust would normally run (im not even gonna do a proper photoshop so its a paint shop attempt lol)
lol, thinking cut the current exhaust off were the red dot is, then 2 90 deg bends round the tank and then to the back, looks like it might go over the back axle and drive shaft? will now better when the lowering blocks are on (there 2" blocks btw)
obvs the fuel lines and cables etc will be sorted out, cant belive someone would drive about with it just like that
i know yea, the chassie legs at the bac were they branch off, and a big patch were some clown has called welded it before i had the car, it was actually just a plate bonded over the old hole and undersealed over will ge t some pics up soon because i need some advice on were to start with it lol
