First, take one village idiot and his car............


Second, find location of antirollbar and it's mounts (hint - try looking between the front wheel and the front of the wheelarch!)..........


Next, remove engine undertray (if yours still exists). 8 10mm bolts and 3 clips holds it on. Jacking the car up slightly so wheels do not leave the ground helps access. This is what you should see (oils stains optional....).........


Use a 13mm socket to remove the two bolts holding each bush on....


Remove the metal 'U' piece and bush from the car........


Note how the new polybush (for an Amazon) is slighty different in design to the 360 one...........


Fit the new polybush.........


Refit the 'U' clamp and tighten up the bolts to a setting of 'F'ing tight'..........


It should end up looking like this..........


Repeat procedure on the other side and end up looking like this.......


Refit undertray, and lower car to ground.

Go for a spin..............

One thing, I won't thight anything smaller than 16mm with that setting, I have snapped 10mm and 13mm bolts with small wrench Good thing is that my wrenchs are equipped with carbon fibre handle so they don't bend

It's rather hard to tell if it's made a difference...it is only two tiny pieces of rubber! I'd say it's a marginal improvement, but there's room for more...

Installation was extremely easy. Following a discussion with Dai, the mounting seems to be different between 340s and 360s, with 360s being a looser fit. The design may have to be slightly revised in order for it to give its best on a '60. Watch this space!

Mmmmm very oily your engine James!

It used to be perfectly clean....in these photos it was oily as sin, but it's now a lot cleaner again! It's pretty much Volvo's fault for designing a cylinder head and seal which has no obvious 'correct' installation location....and incorrect location = broken seal and huge oil leak.
