Wanted - Chair Spindle (backrest adjustment dial)

Bit of an odd one this but I've shattered the backrest adjustment dial on my drivers seat. Please not that I am not talking about the firmness adjustment dials that seem to fall out of 300 chairs.

I'm not familiar with the chair construction but as far as I can see either:

a) The plastic dials are of seperate construction and can be taken off

b) They are riveted in but the metal plate they are mounted to can be removed with 3 bolts.

So I need one or the other, and also some opinions if you think I'm wrong

Ta muchly

Do you mean the plastic circle ring that you turn when adjusting, with the center disk that pops out? If so, it twists off the metal part (hold one of the the metal tabs with a screwdriver and twist the ring part after removing center disk. What colour? I have a few. Not sure I'm talking about the same thing, photo would help.

That's right! Yeah one in grey if you've got one. Or black if not, it will be going on my green seat.
