I was watching the early morning BBC news and on came a story about
a sport in Finland, Mobile phine thowing . Looked like a lot of fun.
The bloke who won threw this phone 101 metres. Great effort.
Who came up with that one?

I'm not sure about origins of that one, but I remember that we had Assembly event where there was hard disc throwing competition at 90's, actually that tradition still runs and event is one the largest demoscene events in world still today, I think they called it demoparty back in old days. These days I think they throw CD's.

We have also many other world cups, woman carrying, swamp football, mosquito squatting, sauna world cup is no longer, but we had that too, not sure if throwing rubber boots was world class competition.
