Sunroof, front valence and spoiler wanted

How do you get hold of a New-Old-Stock metal sunroof panel? My metal sunroof panel is full of holes and I'm fed up of having to re-fill it and re-paint it each year. I've been to my local Volvo dealer and they was as helpful as ever (i.e. not very helpful at all - the answer to "do you have so and so" during the last 10 years has almost always been "no" unless it I've been asking for servicing sundries). Apparently, according to my dealer's spares dept. staff, Volvo UK 'gave' (by that I assume they mean "sold") all the NOS metal sunroof panels to the Volvo Owners Club some time ago. Can anyone confirm the truth of this? I'm asking because I don't belong to the Volvo Owners Club and don't want to have to fork out on membership only to find out they don't stock these metal sunroof panels anyway.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a new-old-stock front valence panel (the 360 type with the fog-lamp holes in it)?

Also, has anyone in the South-East got a non-colour coded black fin-type boot spoiler for a 360 4-door saloon (not the hatchback) for sale, and if so, how much do they want for it?

If it's any use I have a spare metal sunroof panel with minimal rust in silver, really don't think you'll get hold of a new one unfortunately :(

It's not something I've heard about in the VOC. FWIW, the VOC don't normally like buying surplus stock due to lack of storage (there are exceptions as ever).

I don't know what dealer you are using, but if you have access to part numbers I've found it is sometimes a lot better not telling them what car it's for, that way you don't get the stock response....

try painting it something that seals the metal like 2 part epoxy. You can't just use primer and 1 part paint (as you have found).

Weld holes (carefully) sand blast and dip it hammerite rust dip, flatten, fill etc, degrease, epoxy then whatever you want. Epoxy is safe to spray at home with normal filters.

Can't get the valence anywhere currently, has been discussed a few times. 1 or 2 on ebay in last few years thats it.

Saloon spoilers, also hens teeth.

Hi mate.
I have a rust free metel sun roof panel but it is quite heavy so the postage
would be very high.
Cheers Mark.
