I totally agree! It's the same story for all italian cars. If you look at the prancing horse (ferrari :-)) They're absolutely beautiful, very fast (going fast is also the only thing they can, don't take one for a drive in the city ) but when they start to get older thet get all kinds of weird troubles with electrics. I've heard from a guy who was cruising the motorway with his ferrari and suddenly all dashboard lights start burning for a few minutes (a bit like that meat loaf song ):-S....! And it's also the same story for maserati, they do things like that too. But it still wouldn't keep me back from buying one if i had the €€..

P.s. Has anyone ever heard of the story from the Alfasud that was already rusting when still in the showroom :P :P :P

Yeah certainly if you look af sportscars. I mean, porsche is so much better in technics then ferrari, so thats a whole better way to spend the money. But i think a ferrari is sooo stylish and it really stands for something. If i see a 911 turbo for instance, i am not as much excited as when i see a ferrari 355.... Those cars are around the same price and comparable in performance so thats not the difference...

No 911 for me... I like a 944 way better... and Ferrari's scream: LOOK AT ME I"M RICH ENOUGH TO BUY A CRAPPY CAR FOR HALF A MILLION!!!
I'd rather buy a Audi RS6 or something like that...

I would never buy a car like that too show off in the first place. It's often what people think. An uncle of mine has a Porsche Boxster, he is not at all a show off type, and bought the car because he is crazy about it, but everyone thinks he is showing of because he's driving a porsche. But ok, cars like that are not practical at all. A RS6 is :) :) and will probably outrun many porsche an ferrari at the traffic lights.

Shut up Mister-I-can't-drive-a-GLT Image Image

Of course an Alfa hasn't the reliability and safety of a Volvo but that V6 engine isn't bad at all, very sporty! It sounds sooo good... And the design is sm40 ... :P But it's still an italian car with known problems...
