Never thought I'd do this, but.. Trundle is for sale

Post by T.J. »

Absolutely hating doing this, but I'm moving house in January and need the money for oodles of home stuff. I'd actually take things like a sofa or washing machine in px, thats how desperate this is.

Anyone thats been around here will know the car well. It's an amazing shell with only a small bit of rust on one of the doors. There's still some work left to do, but I'll get onto that. First, a list of exactly whats on offer:

3 door 340gl with 480 1.7 turbo (B18FT) engine fitted
lowered onto nicely painted 8 spoke wellers
subaru wrx front seats
omp wheel
new fuel lines, 2nd hand in tank pump setup and a new alloy front mount
boot full of spares (wiring, pipes, alternator (I think), etc.
480 exhaust system and universal 4" back box to cut up and make something with

Things left to do:
Finish the wiring.. most of it's done and I can explain the rest
fit the fuel pipes and pump
make an exhaust system
fit the remainder of the water pipes (I've done the thermostat and electric water pump, just need the top and bottom hose connecting to the radiator)
fit boost pipes and the intercooler

I may have forgotten stuff, but there's no nasty surprises. This will be one of the best 340's around when it's done. Wish I could keep it, but needing money and loosing space means it's not likely. If I can find a way, then it'll be taken off the market again.
Cash wise.. I'd like £800. I'm not interested in any offers, it's worth that all day long.

Hi mate.
That looks to be a brilliant project for someone. Looks worth the money.
Good luck with the sale. I hope it stays here.
Cheers Mark.
