I live in peru and own a (1985) volvo 340 L. Today I cleaned the fuel tank and it was very rusty. there is a plastic or ruber filter that goes at the end of the fuel gauge sender which I cannot buy anywhere here in Lima. I have noticed that you posted a picture here in volvo300mania detailing the tank parts (it is part number 9 in the picture)

Could you please help me find a place in the UK where I can buy it? My sister lives in London and is coming to Peru in 3 weeks which means she can bring it to me. I have a bank account in the uk and a paypal account too for payments.
I have looked into ebay and other sites but cannot find that piece. how is it call by the way, just fuel tank filter?

The part number for a B14 fuel gauge sender filter is 3342840-0 or 3342317-9 (old part number).

As ever, Google is your friend, Dafhobby has the complete sender for sale, presumeably including the filter:
