straight forward rolling restore, bit by bit, that is my only intention.
If I wanted speed/power I'd buy a saab turbo

, they're mental when tuned, barely driveable at first.
A little bit of styling might happen.. the silver strip in the bumpers- change for blue shiny, seems a nice touch.
the steel wheels suit it, just need painting properly, detailing maybe, may pick a new colour(s) for them.
exhaust lightly opened up for a bit of rumble would be nice + chrome tip
and I'll leave it at that.
I've thoroughly broken 4 300s, it's time I was respectful. plus, they're legitimately classic now and coming into style(imo lol).
-----------
If it wasn't for the simplicity, reliability, safety, motorway economy, rwd and classic insurance I'd drive sometjing else.

Not bad going... getting painful sanding filler: I'm only 28 and got arthritic shoulder from years of buffing and sanding- need a leccy sander!
mot man said it looks really tidy

, should be mot'd on monday - if nothing else has broken in the last month......

It doesn't burn oil after all, must have been bad fuel or something, it's not blown smoke in a week so... I dunno.

She's a lot quicker than my 1.7 saloon... loads of grunt and surprisingly lively even in high gears - Same year and engine code

The car is in a pay-and-pray for MOT repair. It's a first for me, I'm scared.
On the upside:
I now own a buffer, a really long wire and some T-cut!, also some over-priced polishing cloth!!
A whole MOT should materialise on Thursday!
Has anyone got a period/original/earlier FM radio/radio cassette? like the optional tape+fm
Oh, and the Reg# is E994 LGV
"egg a lgv"? (don't egg lgv's)

The day I have the MOT and money for tax, naturally, is a bank holiday.
9am and I hit the road.
I've got ample funding so, for immediate purchase, I'd like an offside rear mk3 cluster if anyone can package one up.

It's been off the road since 2006!: I think that's a legitimate rescue.
