Hi guys,
I've just joined up on this forum following buying a 1990 Volvo 340 GL s/r.
The car was delivered in December 1989, and registered January 1990.
It is a one owner from new car with full Volvo service history and a mileage of 39600! :D
She is almost mint, and with a small amount of work could be made excellent.
At the moment she is covered in about an inch of dirt, but underneath she is as straight as the day she was made.
I'm really looking forward to cleaning her up.
At the moment all I have are these two pictures, but you get the idea of what you are looking at.

Thanks guys, I'm sure I will have plenty of questions soon enough.
Enjoy the sun 8) sm4

Welcome to the forum Tommy,

when I first saw your username I instantly thought spammer

Looks like a nice example so well saved. Are you planning on just doing a little maintenance and tidy up or do you have other plans?

Just planning to do her up a bit and keep her in tip top order. I'm not interested in modifying. I have a Saab c900 turbo for that......

Just goobled your username and your YouTube channel popped up among other things.
Like Dai, I thought with a name like that you must be a spammer, or free advertising a buisness.
Totally wrong, I'm glad to say.
As you seem like a thoroughly decent chap.

That would explain it then. Glad I passed the test! Do you not like Latin usernames on here then?

I'm too stupid for Latin.
But I'm sure it's very clever.

And if that isn't a reason to have multiple usernames... I don't know what is.

Welcome to the nutter palace Mr Watches.

Ahhh  I'm off to change my security settings on......pretty much everthing I think! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. The internet is an amazing tool, but also quite scary at times!

Can't wait to start using the 340 at the end of this month. I'm a bit anal about polishing, and it will be a great 'factory fresh' clean up project.
