One of my regulars is in urgent need of a pair of torque reaction rods (usual problem - a "professional mechanic" couldn't tell the difference between M and M fine).

This is a part that is going to need re manufacturing before long, between some rusting out and threads being damaged they will soon become hard to get hold of.

You reckon? They are common to *every* 300, I reckon it's a case of just making sure we save a good number for a while yet. There must be more urgent things on the pile!

There are more urgent things but I think you will be supprised how many cars need them replacing. Of all the cars I have broken not 1 has been intact! the corrosion where the bushes sit are often very bad.

They are low on the list but not that difficult a part to make.

Totally agree - it was a piss poor title - "buttercups next Tuesday week, wibble" would have been much more appropriate.
