I have bought an 3door 360 glt, and I'm not sure if some(gear box and another) parts from my old 340 gl b172k 5doors would be able to fit on my new 360. Sorry for my english If you don't understand me i will try to explain it again.

The gearbox+diff should fit but you need to change the front end of it to the 360 front as the driveshaft is different.

The 360 also mounts on the side of the diff instead of the top, so you will need to check the holes for the bolts are in the diff and clean them out vey well. I think the holes+threads are standard.
The 360 diff brackets and bushes are a bit special. If they are still solid clean and paint the aluminum brackets (even just primer is good), if they have disentegrated seek help/look for good parts.

Body parts + interior are generally the same, obviously doors won't fit and some small differences in suspension. You should not mix the struts and the rear drums are smaller on the 340 but many other parts are the same.
