I can't find one anywhere and due to the strength required to pull the choke in and out it needs to be the original wire core as opposed to the cable type ones. They are too weak and just flex before it moves the choke in and out!!
Unless anyone has any ideas on how to make an aftermarket one fit?
I managed sourced a beat up old 2.0 engined 360 at a local scrap yard that luckily had a carb'd engine.
The choke cable itself looks identical in most places. I'm not too sure on the length yet, the sensor connector is the same for the dash light too.
The only thing that needs modifying is the end of the wire which I will have to wrap into a coil in order for it to sit on the end of the choke bracket on the carb as the 2.0 carb uses a wire clamp rather than a coil.
For those that are interested, I'll let you know how it goes later on when I come to fit it...
The 2.0 cable is longer, but that allows for more adjustment I guess.
Works perfectly and sits exactly the same on the original mount in the steering column, I would modify the wire and sheath to be the correct length but if it aint broke don't fix it.
Wasn't there for very long to be honest, just got what I needed and left as it was in work hours.
May be worth giving them a call to see though as I'm not at all familiar with the 2.0 layout.
