Hello
I would like to share with you please great event happened last Friday here in Israel, where I launched my 1983 Volvo 360 GLT.
It is the one and only 360 in Israel and may be the only 300 series Volvo these days here!

It was launched in the classic car club in Haifa Israel.

The car was imported from the Netherlands at the beginning of this year and since then was renovated, to bring it back to be as it was new.
The car was produced in Sep. 1983 and for some reason (which would be interesting to know why) was sold to it's first hand only on June 1984.
The same owner kept it until last October (for 30 years!) when it was bought by *Kascar In the Netherlands and I bought it from them and imported it to Israel.
*Kascar is located near Amsterdam and is specialized in Volvo cars for many years. (http://www.kascar.nl)

The link bellow is to the Israeli classic car club forum with the specific link related to the launch.
You can find lot's of pictures also from the renovation process. (Sorry it's in Hebrew...)

Please find attached some pictures from the launch

Hope you will enjoy

It is my Saturday car along with Alfasud 1.3 1979,which I restored from zero.
My daily car is ordinary ford focus

Some pictures...

It makes me happy to bring some attention here in Israel to theVolvo 300 series and especialy to the 360 which was never imported to here. (Only the 1.4 was imprted to Israel)

That looks perfect :) I bet you're very happy with it

I love Alfa Suds my eldest brother had about 6! Although only his first one was made of steel the rest were either rust or "proffesionally restored" with filler and newspaper :(

Fabulous isn't it! You just need the little hexagonal plastic trim pieces that cover the strut top nuts ;-o

Hi mate.
Car looks great. You will turn heads with that at car shows.

Cheers Mark.

It seems likely that this vesion rolled out of production line with out head lights wipers

Next project would be to transfer the Air conditioning from the donator car (340 1.4 1988) to this car
I will upload pictures

Different market specification Mark. UK-spec would have generally have more goodies as the local taxes are low. Dutch market cars on the other hand would cost more in taxes on top of the list price (I guess), so to keep the list price low and the on-the-road price affordable specifications tend to be lower.

You only have to look south of the border and see what lousy spec and engines we get down here!!!

Hi all.
With the head light motors just screwing unto the bottom of the head light, Shurly
they could be put on. The wireing is bound to be there for them :o :o :o
Cheers Mark.
