How far do you want to travel? Read the below.... then I'll point out where the lot currently lives.

I have an early B18FT (i.e. black inlet manifold which is slightly higher boost, milder camshaft) on a 340 sump, currently with no clutch (I do have a standard 1.7 340 one if it would help). I drove the engine to my house but it hasn't fired for ~6 or 7 years.

The engine is from my old 480 turbo auto ( I have mileage written down somewhere I'm sure) and was a very nice power source in a rotten shell. It would come with intake manifold, turbo, possibly original exhaust manifold as I think I still have it somewhere. Also at least engine bay loom (uncut, I removed it from the plugs), both ECU's. It has the correct T piece fitted to the back of the water pump, etc. As it hasn't fired for a while, I'm not going to put a huge amount of price on it, scrap value would do it or pay for the ancillaries and the engine comes free type of thing.

There is also a supposed "Richmod" ECU. I've never had it on a car, but I have no reason to doubt the seller, he was a well known 480 chap. I'd be after £80 for that given they are now unobtainium.

I do also have the exhaust manifold I had custom made by ClassicSwede. It's a lovely design, I was very picky about how I wanted it. It was made from (from memory) 307 stainless, to allow flexibility unlike most SS, but still providing protection from corrosion. I paid £300 for this, I'd be looking for £200, or a deal if it went with the engine. To give you a clue about how it sits, last two photos give you a clue about it's height, and that it clears the standard bonnet:

Also, the intercooler in that picture is also for sale, £20 collected, I can probably sort some form of postage on it if required, similarly the intake manifold in those pictures isn't standard B18FT, it's one of the other 400's to move the throttle body to somewhere that clears the 300 heater box, that can also be available separately.

So... the problem is that it is all on the Isle of Wight. I can get it to Southampton if you were keen, but it would involve me getting a ferry and storing it over here where I don't really have room, so I'd be after a deposit before I did that. A sensible deal to remove the lot would be listened too.

For the sake of the thread I have paid a deposit on Chris's engine pending collection.

Cheers Chris :)
