I've just got my old 340 1.7, 1987 started but it's not "on the road" - no MOT. See my 20 Dec 2014 post in the offers section.

Look I've taken some photos of my 340 & I'm going to try to upload them tonight; trouble is I'm no good at that sort of thing! Also I finally have a lead on a choke cable. If I can get the choke cable, I might be able to get the 340 idling properly.
I don't want you traveling down from Peterborough if the 340's not the one for you. That'd be a bummer for you.
Have you read the long update (8 Jan 2015) of my original "Volvo 340 GLE 1.7 1987" thread in the Offers section (first posted 20 Dec 2014? - that gives you a detailed idea of the state of the car, what I have been working on & what I think needs doing.
