I visited the Volvo Klassieker Beurs in the Netherlands over the weekend, for the second year running. It was an excellent parts fair, although I felt that many of the parts were for Amazons rather than later classic Volvos, but never mind.

There were a few 300s on display at the Dutch Volvo 300 Club stand, and there were also a few in the car park, so I thought I would share some pictures. The green 1980 343 is gorgeous, and the paint finish is superb.

I'm told that there is a 40th anniversary of the 300 party being organised by the Dutch club on June 18 next year. I am certainly planning to go!

BMR's saloon is my favourite and the 242 in the background of the first pic looks brilliant.

Great pics Sion! Love the black 340 - strange it's badged as a '340' yet still has the quarter lights, full chrome bumpers, etc - must be an '83' as it has the later dash. The interior looks great. Plus of course the R-Sport It'd be great to get along to the 40th Anniversary - where is it?
