Leafspring mounting bushes

Maybe someone out there can help me out.

The volvo is suffering from severe axle float during sudden steering inputs. I feel the axle move side to side before returning a steering input.

Before I start pottering about with either a panhard rod or watts link setup, I would like to try and replace the worn rubber leafspring bushings with some nice aluminium ones.

Does anyone have a couple of bushing lying about that they could measure up? If they are simple to produce I could maybe run a series of a couple of bushing for you guys.

I'm in the process of tooling up for poly bushes for the leaf springs. I will be keeping people up to date as far as possible on the progress. Alu will not work very well you would be better off useing nylon as it does have some give.

The car is only used for racing, I have no need for give but can benefit from as much stiffness as possible. Aluminium has been used in lots of leafspring suspensions before, works fine.
