Hey, my name is Steven,
Had a mk2 golf but that decided to chew it's timing belt, so my mate offered me a swap for his volvo 340, its got the f7r engine in and welded rear diff, currently away getting motd(hopefully), thought I should sign up as I'll probably need bits and lots of advice
It's going to be interesting to drive

Welcome, I really want a go in an f7 powered 340 I think it would be bonkers.
Shame about the golf but you definitely got an upgrade.
I have a 1985 mk2 which was a 1.3 and is now an abf (2.0 16v) and if I had to choose one car I would go for my 360 every time.

I'd rather have a mk2 golf but that's because it's better as it's a better daily than my 340, its stripped out with 2 bucket seats, full stainless with a four branch manifold, it's a bit loud and scary to drive everyday, although Ill probably change my mind soon enough

Yea well that's a fair call then. A stripped out she'll with a lockie probably will get a bit annoying as a daily. That's why once my 360 is done it'll stay fully furnished. Maybe strip my 855T5 out, because racecar.

In this thread or make another one in project cars.
You either attach them to a post, when making a new post below "save as draft" etc and to the left is a button upload attachment click that and select the files to upload.
Or use a hosting site like photobucket, flickr etc and copy and past the img code in to the new post.

Then you'll end up with something like this. I couldn't use a current photo due to the 1mb size restriction
