Oil pressure sensor
I am looking for the place where the sensor for the oilpressure- and oil temperaturegauge fits into the engine.
Who can tell me?

oil temperature goes in the sump plug, oil pressure goes in where the current oil pressure switch is

It's probably not both temp and pressure, but pressure for the gauge, and pressure for the oil light on your dash board. Can you get a part no or a piccy???

dont see how it can do both with only 2 lines into it - one power and one signal surely?

Yep, the gauges i got were also in Volvo boxes, but were actually DAF gauges. So i quess this is just like with the gauges not the original box
An uncle of mine said it was possible that it it was both pressure and temp. sender, but i don't think that is posible either with only 2 lines coming out. It could be that the sensor itself acts as the ground, and that there are 2 lines, one for pressure and one for temp.

Any idea where I could get that original sensor and a Volvo pressure gauge? I need a pressure gauge and all aftermarket gauges need a T-splitter for it's own sensor I think and I already have one because turbo gets it's oil feed from the original pressure light sensor. There's a banjo fitting and original warning light sensor is connected to that and from the banjo fitting goes an oil line to turbo. So it would be better I would only have one sensor in which you can connect the original light and the gauge. Or if someone can name some other pressure gauge which has a sensor which works with original light too. I don't wan't too many splitters in my oil lines..

Right, it loos like it is a common ground (i.e. gets a ground via the block) pressure sender, which has a G (gauge) line and a WS (I think....) warning signal... To definately confirm, read what info is stamped on the nuts flats on the gauge, if it says something like 5bar, 0.5bar sw, and nothing that looks like a temp reading (150degC or similar) it's definately just a pressure.
Fuse, there are loads of senders on ebay.. you just need to get the right thread, resistance and pressure limits. All VDO pressure senders I have seen incorperate the warning lamp signal line, make sure you get one that switches at the correct (0.5bar) pressure. So for a 5bar gauge you'd want a sender that had M14x1.5 thread (for a B14.... I think this is true for a redblock, but check) 5 bar limits (for a volvo 5bar gauge) over 180ohms (again... check this, I used Porsche gauges, but I think they are the same, just different faces), 0.5bar warning switch. Other than that, the options on common/separate earth and terminal type are down to what makes life easy for you, or what you can get cheapest
