B200 Oil?

What oil is everyone using for their B200's? My car is due an oil change and i'm not sure which to use, as i've been told two different types: 10W40 semi-synth or a 15W40 mineral. Ive got a bottle of slick50 to go in so i'm thinking the 10W40 would be better as it wouldnt need changing as soon again. Would this work better or worse as i'm thinking the engine was designed to run on the older mineral oils?
Cheers in advance. Dave.

Use the good stuff, the 10w-40 semi-synth and stay away from the slick50, you don't need it, and whilst the engine may be initially a bit quieter, the teflon particles have been known to gunk up the small oilways.

i have used Bosch and Purolator and 5W-40 for 70 kilo miles...Volvo runs good, no sludge, oil separator and flametrap OK.
